Since childhood I’ve been obsessed by the idea that, just before we die, everything we love flashes before our eyes. I don’t even care whether or not it is true; I just think it sounds wonderful.

Moments that were neither accomplishments nor something great and memorable but simple things in life.

That person you cared about.
Laughter that you didn’t know you remembered.
Evening stroll.
Taps of rain on a window.
The place you once called home.

These memories don’t just replay but form the world where time stops for one last moment before vanishing to light. The world, which is situated between this life and the next one.

This world is called the Ethereal Realm.

This song is an attempt to depict that experience—to make it nostalgic, calming, bittersweet, and peaceful.
